I like organization as much as the next person, but I can’t keep everything in line all the time… and sometimes, life gets a little overwhelming, and you have to embrace the mess.
When I bake, I embrace the mess… and the results are delicious. (And there’s the added bonus of my kitchen cleaning up real nice, so it’s all OK!)
When I’m outdoors, I embrace the mess. From my messy ponytail to getting my hands dirty in the yard to the sunscreen on my skin, I love being outside and living life in the sunshine, even if it means I have to shower afterwards.
And when I paint, I embrace the mess. It’s something I’ve done ever since I was an art student in high school, which carried over into college. And since we are now “officially” working on our house, I embrace the mess, splotches and random splatter paint as we add color to the walls and inevitably, me.
