There’s something about sitting back and enjoying the sunshine during these scorching summer months by the comfort of a gloriously chilled swimming pool.
As a child who grew up in the South, I spent days at the neighborhood pool, swimming to beat the heat and then gorging myself on Goldfish, Cheeze-its and Frozen Snickers bars.
My friend Becky is one of the fortunate ones who has a pool in her backyard. We decided we wanted to take it easy and enjoy the rays one afternoon… and perhaps take a photo for good measure to capture the moment.
I don’t know about y’all, but I’m trying to soak in these days full of sunshine before the fall rolls in. And though it feels far away still, I know it won’t be long.
