Jessica and Eric | Baton Rouge Maternity Photographer

It’s not every day that a photographer is given the opportunity to document a long-time friend and her husband before the birth of their first child.

Back in May, I spent a morning with Jessica, a girl I’ve known since my freshman year of college, and her husband, who I got to know during our time in the sorority. Jessica was actually my first model ever, and she was a mainstay in my portrait projects until we both graduated.

This past spring, Jessica called me up to see if I would be available for a shoot when they were back in town for a shower, and luckily, I had the morning free. It was a gorgeous Saturday morning, and we met up by Memorial Tower on LSU’s campus, snapping a few photos there, then proceeded to walk around to a few of our favorite spots.

Jessica and Eric were troopers for this shoot, and I have to say, they are still some of my favorite models!
