As a photojournalist, I don’t have a lot of experience setting up images. But as someone who focused on portrait photography in school, and someone who still enjoys portraiture, I am comfortable illustrating points through images.
For the December edition of 225, I was assigned a photo illustration to help illustrate the question, “If the light is still yellow when I enter the inter-section, will I get a ticket?”
My friend, Erryca, helped me with the images, and we spent quite a bit of time laughing in my car as I attempted to maneuver my bulky camera (and lens) around the steering wheel to get the best possible shot of her looking up.
It took a little time, but we nailed the final image.
