Back in January, I had the pleasure of photographing some Baton Rouge entrepreneurs in their workplaces, capturing them in action. After I had taken four separate shoots, we got three of the entrepreneurs together for the cover shoot for this month’s 225.
We decided to make the photo on the Mississippi River levee, and we all met early one morning, prepared to stand out in the cold and wind for the sun to rise and hit our subjects just perfectly as they stood on the levee. However, none of us were really prepared for the wind we felt, and we all shivered as we waited.
This shot I’m sharing with y’all today was taken just before the sun peeked over a few downton Baton Rouge buildings. I’m loving the sky, as well as the feel of the shot because it was really cold as we were waiting for the sunrise.
