On Assignment | Jason Kelly at Premier Soccer Center | 225

Jason Kelly, a Buffalo, NY native and avid soccer fan, moved to Baton Rouge and almost immediately noticed a need for an indoor soccer facility in the community. Kelly got to work, and last year, the Premier Soccer Center, located in St. Gabriel Parish, opened its doors.

Since its opening, the Premier Soccer Center stayed busy, hosting adult, child and teenage indoor soccer leagues for all players.

When I visited the facility, Jason kindly gave me a tour, posed for portraits, and then, I got to shoot a little soccer. While I was never a “real” soccer player — that one season in sixth grade doesn’t count — I have always loved the game, and it was exciting to see some action in person after watching it on the television for so long.
