On Assignment | Pride and Prejudice | 225

It was 2006, and my roommate, Liz, called me to ask if I wanted to join her in viewing Pride and Prejudice with her. Warily, I agreed, and I was utterly blown away by the love story, the script and the music of the movie.

Since watching the movie, I have read the novel several times, but have yet to see it performed on the stage.

So when I was given this assignment, I was thrilled to learn Pride and Prejudice was being produced at LSU for the month of February. I was also thrilled to learn that Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett were being played by a married couple.

Joanna and Drew were nice as can be during our shoot, and I am excited to see the production on stage before it finishes its run next week.
