Y’all should know by now that I am a huge food fan and jump at any chance to shoot a food assignment because, not only do I love to eat, but I also love to learn about different cuisines.
I was excited to learn that my editors wanted me to head on over to a local Italian deli to document the making of the deli’s signature and one of South Louisiana’s favorite sandwiches, the Muffoletta.
I spent an afternoon with Maria Saia and her son, Marco, photographing and videoing the making of this beloved deli creation, and I wanted to share the final result with y’all here.
