Friday favorites

Could we all stop for a second and reflect on the fact that it is already NOVEMBER? Seriously. Before we know it, it’ll be Thanksgiving and then it’ll be Christmastime!

All right. Now that we’ve chatted about how quickly the year has gone by, here are some of my favorite links from around the internet for the week:

Odds & Ends

  • Would y’all be my friend if I sent you a real life friend request?
  • If you ever wanted to write a Thank You note to a teacher, there’s a place for you to do that online! If you were to write one of these, who would you address it to? I know I’d send a huge THANK YOU to my high school art teacher, Mr. Berlin.
  • Which one of the 7 billion are you? Apparently, I am the 4,797,725,371st person alive on Earth and the 79,586,331,498th person to have lived since history began.
  • Becka’s post on why we need the ashes is uber-inspirational. And something I kind of want to print out, hang on the wall in front of my desk and look at from time to time when I feel like I’m not doing enough with my business and life. We all need the darkness to appreciate the light. We all have to become the Phoenix and rise above the ashes. “Set yourself on fire and fly.”

What are some of y’alls favorites? And what are you doing this weekend? If you’re an LSU fan and in town, come hang out with us! My mom will be in town, and we will be cheering the Tiger fans on to victory on Saturday evening!

Happy weekend, all!
