On Assignment | Corks N Canvas | 225 Magazine

At the beginning of July, I was given the assignment to go check out the one Corks N Canvas, a shop where patrons come to paint a specific painting and drink wine during the class. Due to local liquor laws, Corks N Canvas had to apply for rezoning as a bar.

While the rezoning was not complete when I visited the shop, I had the opportunity to photograph the founders, Cathy Deano and Renee Maloney, as well as see what their customers get to paint on a daily basis.

The photographs in the brightly colored shop turned out wonderfully, and it sounds like everyone has a great time painting and drinking a little vino in the studio during class!
