While in Chicago, I took the time to make some portraits of the friends, old and new, who I spent time with during the conference.
Here are a few of my favorites…
I have found that the older I get and the more photographs I make, the more I want to document the people I experience things with, no matter what the experience actually is. Maybe that’s strange to some of y’all, but I want to remember the events, as well as the people who stood by my side for them.
What about y’all?
courtney - you are SO good at what you do. i’m constantly blown away.
lacey bean - I’m pretty sure you’ve taken some of the BEST pictures of me. EVER.
Jenn - Love this so much. And you, of course 🙂
Derek - OMG I love this; wish I’d had a chance to have you shoot me:)
Ben - This was so much fun to do and, not surprisingly, the shots are beautiful!
Becca - Love this! You have inspired me to stop being afraid to carry my camera with me and to ask people if I can take their picture. You are awesome. 🙂
Richard - OK I have a proposition for you. You follow me around all the time and take pictures of me like this one. For this job, I will pay you… well… not much. BUT doesn’t it sound like fun?
Hey why are you walking away?
katelin - love these.
