Last weekend, Melanie and I decided it was time. Time for some portraits.
It was a beautiful spring day, although the temperature skyrocketed around the middle part of the day. But when we headed out around 6 p.m., it was slowly cooling off and the light was perfect.
We came across a snowcone (rather, SnoKone) vendor at the park, and after a quick wardrobe change, we purchased a tasty prop that accompanied us for the rest of our shoot.
I think the guidance I gave for this photo was, “Just hold the snowcone like a bridesmaid bouquet.”
What is your favorite way to cool down on a warm spring/summer day?
