One photo every day.
It sounds easy. Until life gets in the way.
As a photographer who is working a non-photo job, I’ve struggled picking up my camera some days. It’s sad to write, but true. And while I’ve been freelancing recently, I miss having my Canon in my hands.
To combat this and to challenge our creativity, my friend, Elizabeth, and I are embarking on a project.
Elizabeth, who lives in Boston, will take one (or more!) photo(s) a day. I will do the same. And at the beginning of every new week, we will post our favorite images of the day on our blogs.
Exciting, no?

Friday, March 26: Lucy in the backseat of our new car as we drove to Memphis. (She’s a good backseat driver.)
Saturday, March 27: My friend and bridesmaid, Emily, getting ready before the engagement party. (I wish I had more time to photograph everyone preparing for the party, but I ran out of time myself. Em and Krysten may have had to straighten my hair and brush on my makeup at the same time as we rushed to get ME ready because I had painted my nails before realizing the time. Oops.)
Sunday, March 28: Abita Strawberry Harvest. The best beer EVER (no, really) that I have yet to find in Nashville. Lucky for me, one of the girls brought this (and wrapped it!) for us as an engagement present.

It was an eventful weekend, but a lovely one. It was filled with laughter, tears, surprises, family, old and new friends. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.

Lys - i love this idea 🙂 i would love to do this at some point as well, i'm getting worse and worse at taking pictures every day unless i'm going to some sort of an event i want to remember.
